Valuation of inland waterway boats and vessels

Valuation of inland waterway boats and vessels means the determination of value of any type of self-propelled or non-self-propelled passenger, cargo and technical (service, research, maintenance, etc.) vessel as well as ferry (passenger, cargo, mixed), which is or may be used for inland waterway navigation.

Valuation of inland waterway boats and vessels may be necessary for:

  • Financial statements,
  • Tax purposes,
  • Assessment of losses incurred through the damage of property,
  • Pledging of property,
  • Insurance of property,
  • Selling or other transfer of property.

The following documents must be submitted for valuation: vehicle registration certificate (if registration is obligatory), documents of the last Lithuanian transport safety administration (LTSA) examination (if LTSA examination is obligatory).
